Partner Development and Channel Manager

Overview:

The Partner Development and Channel Manager builds, maintains, and expands strategic relationships with key partners, distributors, and channel partners to increase revenue opportunity for IMRIS that deliver accelerated growth across all revenue streams. The Partner Development and Channel Manager will provide strategic direction and leadership in IMRIS’ critical endeavors to increase consideration, awareness, and win rate within the hybrid operating room market by partnering closely with go to market partners.  The incumbent will set short-and long-term business development strategies against company-wide targets to generate sales growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain strong go to market plan with Siemens organization and be key strategic partner in channel partnership on a global scale

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand business in a proactive manner in conjunction with various channel partners within the global market

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with critical partners throughout all sales distribution channels including go to market partnerships and distribution channels

  • Represents the company in all activities associated with reseller/channel support on a global scale

  • Build campaigns and sales strategies with partners to increase market awareness and consideration for IMRIS theaters as well as consulting opportunities

  • Effectively work with internal partners to increase sales effectiveness and sales management processes

  • Develop and execute revenue, market share and coverage plans

  • Track and maintain metrics and success measures to evaluate progress

  • Collaborate with Marketing and other internal groups to develop plan to penetrate new markets

  • Travel as necessary to meet objectives (40-50%)

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

  • Reports directly to SVP, Global Sales and Marketing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA preferred

  • At least 7 years in medical device industry; preferably in neurosurgery or diagnostic imaging, with a combination of sales, sales management and channel distribution management experience

  • Accomplished sales professional who is accustomed to selling in both a direct and channel sales model

  • Proven track record of sales goal / quota achievement with a high level of forecast accuracy and revenue predictability

  • Engaging presentation and speaking skills along with solid writing and active listening skills

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to conduct executive level sales presentations and discussions across various Global partners and various international cultures

  • Consistent sales performer with an emphasis on the ability to manage complex sales cycles and orchestrate resources to obtain results

  • Experience discussing ROI and value realization with clients in medical device industry

  • Evidence of successfully developed long-term relationships with customers and external partners and stakeholders

Software Engineer


We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Minnetonka, MN.

Overview:

This Software Engineer will be primarily responsible for developing reliable and usable software that will enable Deerfield Imaging to deliver high quality medical products. Responsibilities include working with other staff to define and implement functional and user-interface requirements needed within a clinical setting; develop, implement and debug software tools; improve the performance reliability and reusability of existing software systems. The incumbent will effectively manage project deliverables along with daily tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer information systems or equivalent degree
  • At least 5 years of industry experience as a developer of product software
  • At least 5 years of modern object-oriented programming experience such as C++, C#, or Java.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of system architecture and usages of modern design techniques such as multi threading, interrupts, file i/o, inter-process communication, and network communication
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Team-oriented style that values synergy of group efforts

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies advanced knowledge of software development and software products in order to develop, enhance and maintain the foundation for large, complex software projects
  • Closes on customer and R&D derived requirements for software development products early in the design cycle
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of software coding techniques in order to take software design and produce highly efficient implementations with a defined programming language. Ensures all product code is peer reviewed
  • Ensures comprehensive verification to project requirements and validation to customer needs is performed and documented
  • Requires advanced usage of various programming paradigms and software development tools.
  • Knowledge includes ability to debug complex software implementations using standard debugging tools
  • Applies advanced knowledge of the principles and application of coding standards and the methods and guidelines for program documentation
  • Follows the Deerfield Imaging  development process, including the requirements for FDA submission of software

Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Evaluate, design, prototype and integrate components for employer’s operating room control system, which combines audio, video, lighting and power control technology. Will work over the entire span of design activities. Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Evaluating existing and available designs and products.

  • Defining technical requirements.

  • Generating new and unique designs.

  • Designing and prototyping components.

  • Analyzing performance parameters.

  • Integrating and testing selected designs.

  • Maintaining and supporting deployed systems, among others.

As part of duties, will travel up to 20% of time to client sites across the United States as necessary, as well as periodic trips to customer sites overseas.

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or related and five years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s Engineering experience.

 Experience must include the following:

  • Experience with designing CPLDs and FPGAs for medical devices.

  • Verification and Validation testing based on IEC standards.

  • Experience designing boards (embedded with software) utilizing programming languages for Medical clients.

  • Redesigning PCBs for RoHS compliance.

  • At least three years in a design capacity for a medical equipment manufacturer.

  • Software experience, such as programming using “C” programming language

Radio Frequency Engineer

Overview:

This Radio Frequency Engineer will be primarily responsible for the design, development, building, and testing of RF coils for MRI systems and will partner with a team of engineers on new product development and sustaining engineering efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSEE, BS Physics or similar degree required; advanced degrees preferred.

  • MRI RF coil development experience a must; 5+ years’ experience in RF coil development preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in the research, design and development of Radiofrequency coils

  • Provide direct engineering design, implementation, documentation, and testing effort to RF coil development projects assigned

  • Lead the research, design and implementation of innovative RF designs

  • Mentoring junior engineers on the art of RF coil design and engineering development

  • Contribute New Intellectual property (IP) on RF coils and related designs

  • Model and simulate proposed designs to ensure target specifications are met

  • Work with mechanical supplier to develop mechanical housings for MRI RF coil products

  • Conduct design reviews as required by the development methodology

  • Assure that the quality process is followed

  • Assure that design standards are used when applicable

Clinical Applications Specialist

OVERVIEW:

This Clinical Applications Specialist role is responsible for all aspects of the initial training and case-support for the complete OR team, including Neurosurgeons, anesthesiologist, radiologist, OR Nurses and MR technician as well as other relevant personnel in the use the VISIUS Surgical Theatre. As a clinical expert, this incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining successful and value-add relationships with our customers and instilling best practice workflow expertise across multiple sites.  

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, facilitating, and coordinating all aspects of training for new centers in collaboration with internal partners. During the planning phase, the CAS will discuss and tailor the training to the customer’s needs.

  • Support the centers in optimizing their standard procedures and workflows.

  • Provide proactive consulting in all stages in the sales and installation processes as needed

  • Provide training and case support for new operators of the IMRIS VISIUS Surgical Theatre

  • Provide R&D with clinical input for new projects

  • Support new product evaluation and clinical studies

  • Provide clinical expertise to current customers

  • Assist with orientation of potential clients by accompanying site visits, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates require a min of 5 years’ experience in an Neurosurgical operating room environment and have a nursing degree or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication are required

  • Detail oriented

  • Able to travel 50% of the time, including international projects.

Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

OVERVIEW:

This Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all plant production operations and leading the implementation of appropriate manufacturing methodologies throughout Deerfield Imaging. Responsibilities will include providing leadership and support to his/her team during the product development process; developing processes and procedures for the proper assembly and testing of Deerfield Imaging products; identifying and implementing efficiency and cost reduction opportunities; and the management of the Assembly area.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and effectively manage the production section of Deerfield Imaging using accepted  principles and processes to optimize work flow, facilitate effective coordination between departments, ensure high standards of employee safety,  and effect consistent achievement of high cost efficiencies

  • Provides leadership to Assembly team and works closely with Engineers focused on manufacturing.

  • Interface with R&D, Customer Service, Quality and Operations

  • Develops process and procedures of effective production

  • Presents and implement continuous improvement opportunities

  • Responsible for the management and  development of team members

  • Responsible for quality and risk management of all Deerfield Imaging activities associated with production/assembly   

  • Provide Manufacturing Engineering leadership with product development and design across several functions in the company including R&D, Customer Service, Quality and Operations.

  • Ensure that the safety policies and procedures are followed in the production area

  • Provides training and guidance on the use of work orders, assembly documents, production drawings and sample assemblies

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience including 3-5 years of management experience, preferred Manufacturing Engineering experience in medical device industry

  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

  • Excellent leadership and problem solving skills

  • Previous experience in product/process development in a related field, preferred

  • Capable of identifying and embracing innovation

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint etc), and engineering drawing packages like Solidworks and CAD drawings.

  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
